Itinerary

WELCOME TO LONDON!

Arrive by 12 pm. Transfer from airport to hotel, enroute lunch. Later in the evening, our guide will give an overview of the tour.

London by Evening – 90 Minutes open top bus route

Dinner. Overnight London.

 

In the morning, comprehensive tour with local guide, lasting two hours and a half. We will see the Houses of Parliament, the Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, Picadilly Square, Oxford Street, the Tower of London, the Tower Bridge and the Buckingham Palace along with the famous Changing of Guard (depending on the time of year). Later, we go to the “London Eye” Ferris wheel.

15:00 hrs- Vist the Royal Observatory Greenwich. Check out the Royal Observatory Greenwich, and stand aside the Prime Meridian: The line that divides the world’s eastern and western hemispheres and defines Greenwich Mean Time. With the help of an audio guide, you can then learn about the work of British honorary astronomers and hear fun facts about space, time, and the stars. Try to time your visit to see the fall of the red Time Ball by Flamsteed House; it is among the world’s first public displays of time.

Return to hotel after dinner. Overnight London.

09:30 hrs – After breakfast, we head over to the visit London’s museums and galleries, from Tate Modern to the British Museum. See the exhibitions.

1300 hrs – Lunch

14:30 hrs – We visit the The SEA LIFE London. This fun-filled arena provides us with the opportunity to explore the creatures that live in our seas, rivers and oceans. We will walk in awe through pacific ocean tunnels, tropical rainforests, shark reef encounters, penguin point and the Thames Walk. We will have an interactive workshop on the daily adaptation, survival techniques, feeding and the breeding habits of our beloved marine creatures!

17:30 hrs – Indulge in a chocolate Making Workshop
19:30 hrs – Everybody’s Talking About Jamie (180 mins) Drama Theatre 
Inspired by a true story. Jamie New is sixteen and lives on a council estate in Sheffield. Jamie doesn’t quite fit in and is terrified about the future. Supported by his brilliant loving mum and surrounded by his friends, Jamie overcomes prejudice, beats the bullies and steps out of the darkness, into the spotlight.

22:00 hrs – Dinner at the hotel.

08:30 hrs – After a sumptuous breakfast, we board the bus to the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry at Hogwarts. (Hold the excitement)

9:20 hrs – We enter the Warner Bros Studios. We step on to authentic sets, discover the magic behind spellbinding special effects and explore the behind-the-scenes secrets of the Harry Potter film series. Lunch will be provided at the park.

19:30 hrs – Leave the studio and come back to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel.

Scenery: Picturesque countryside with hills and woods.

07:30 hrs – London – Departure – We cross the city and travel towards the north of England. Attractive countryside in the English countryside.

10:00 hrs – Cambridge –Arrival – We have time to admire the beautiful main colleges and have lunch.

12:30 hrs – Cambridge – Departure – We continue our journey towards the north, with views over agricultural fields and Sherwood Forest, former home of the legendary Robin Hood.

15:30 hrs – York – Arrival – Passing along the walls that date to Roman times, we walk towards the cathedral. Time to stroll around its lively shopping streets.

17:30 hrs – York -Departure – We continue our journey northwards.

19:30 hrs – Durham –Arrival – Impressive medieval city. Time to stroll around its cobbled streets in the centre and to discover its cathedral and castle, both of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Overnight Durham .

Total distance covered: 230 km.
Scenery: Cross into Scotland. Castles, views over the sea.

08:30 hrs – Durham –Departure – We travel north through England, and pass by the edge of the city of Newcastle.

09:45 hrs – Alnwick – Medieval town dominated by its large castle. Attractive gardens. This was one of the backdrops for the Harry Potter film. Stroll around. Note: the castle will be shut during the winter months (01 October-31 March).

11:15 hrs – Alnwick –Departure – Cross into Scotland.

13:15 hrs – Edinburgh –Arrival We are now in the capital of Scotland, in one of the liveliest cities in the north of Europe, whose spectacular centre has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The castle dominates the city centre, with its cobbled streets and parks. In the summer, the Edinburgh Festival is held, and the city brims with life and its many shows. Free time.

17:30 hrs – Scenic visit round the city with a local guide (occasionally, this could be earlier, being undertaken on our arrival in the city). Later on, we provide a transfer to return to the hotel.

10:00 hrs – After an early breakfast, all aboard the Hogwarts Express. Whether you are a Harry Potter fan or not, traveling through the Highlands via the Jacobite Steam Train is something you simply can not miss. Check out key film locations from all eight movies as you cross Glenfinnan Viaduct and the wild Rannoch Moor, pass through volcanic glens en route to Fort William, and soak in views of Loch Shiel and more. Enjoy the Highlands’ magical scenery and never fear — dementors won’t be stopping the train anytime soon.

16: 00 hrs – We visit the National Museum of Scotland at Edinburgh. Here, we travel back in time through Scottish history. We also visit Dolly, the most famous sheep in the world, the first cloned mammal ever to be created from an adult cell. Later, we climb up to the roof terrace, for spectacular panoramic views on Edinburgh. The perfect place for a selfie!

We visit the Scottish Art Gallery. Spend an hour strolling around this peaceful setting and find masterpieces from Raphael, Velázquez and Vermeer to Monet, Cézanne and Van Gogh.

18:30 hrs – For you to take back beautiful souvenirs for your family and friends, we take you next to the Princes street, the famous shoppers street at Edinburgh. You are expected to bring out the shopaholic in you.

After an early breakfast, check out from hotel. Take the flight back to India (10 am).
