Hampi – Heritage

Overview

Hampi is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in India located near Hospet town in the Karnataka state. Situated at an altitude of approximately 1,600 feet above sea level. Vast stretches of boulder-strewn hills make the backdrop of Hampi unique. Dotted around the hills and valleys are 500 plus monuments. Among them are beautiful temples, ruins of palaces, remains of aquatic structures, ancient market streets, royal pavilions, bastions, royal platforms and treasury buildings

Itinerary

Pick up from Bangalore Airport and drive to Hampi. Check in to the hotel on arrival. Proceed for local sightseeing (if time permits) or spend the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Hampi.

After breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing tour covering architectural heritages, which are basically ruins of Vijayanagara Empire and in modern era listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit Vittala Temple, Lotus Mahal, Hazara Rama Temple and Elephant Stables. In the evening, return to the hotel for your overnight stay.

After breakfast visit Virupaksha Temple, Hampi Archeological Ruins, Durga Temple, Pamba Sarovar & Lakshmi Temple, In the evening, return to the hotel for your overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Bangalore for your return journey.
