In case of individuals, inviter’s full name, ID no. (Foreigner Registration No.) and phone number.

In the case of a family visit, a Letter of Invitation (in Korean) from the Applicant’s reference in South Korea is required along with Marriage certificate and if applicable Birth Certificate of the child.

- Invitee’s details, such as in case of companies, name and phone no. of the person in-charge and in case of individuals, inviter’s full name, ID no. (Foreigner Registration No.) and phone number.
- Inviting company/ individual’s seal/signatures at the end of the letter.
Photocopy of Certificate of Business Registration latest or tax payment documents of the current year.
- If the inviter is a Korean Government or Public Institution/ Organization, Certificate of Business registration is not required.
Copy of the Business Registration Certificate of the Indian & S.Korean Company.
Bank letter and company bank statement in case of proprietor.
Bank statement of applicant of the last six months.

The Applicant should have a valid passport at least 6 months.
One visa form (photocopy allowed, In Chennai two forms are required).
One visa form to be completed by the University in S. Korea.
One passport-size photograph (In Chennai two are required).
Applicant needs confirmed return / onward air ticket.
Onward visa.
Covering letter.
Letter of guarantee from the University/Institution in Korea.
Letter of Financial Guarantee from the University.
Certificate of Visa Issurance to be arranged by University in Korea through Ministry of Justice and Certificate of Admission in case of D-2 Visa.
Hotel confirmation.
In case of family visit a letter of invitation from Applicant’s reference in South Korea, in Korean.
Proof of funds.
Visa is valid for 90 days and is issued for a maximum stay of 90 days.
Visa processing takes minimum 5 working days.
Visa fee is paid in cash in Delhi.
All long term visas require the submission of thee copies of each document. They are referred to South Korea for approval and can take about a month to be processed.

ELIGIBILITY: Applicant must meet one of the following requirements to be eligible for Express Visa:
- Applicants must have got the Confirmation of Visa Issuance No. from Korea.
- Applicants must have visited Korea with Multiple Entry Visa in the past.
- Applicants must have visited Korea at least two times in last 2 years.

or applicants residing in any other part of India except Tamilnadu,Kerala,Karnataka, Puducherry, Maharashtra Goa and Gujarat,should submit application at VFS Korea Visa Application Centre at New Delhi and Kolkata. Application submitted at VFS Delhi and Kolkata Centre will be processed by Embassy of Korea,New Delhi.
