With immediate effect, Applicants who have not travelled to Malaysia with the visa issued to him/ her earlier must attach a declaration letter stating the actual reason for failing to travel last time with the valid Malaysian visa. Failure to do so, may risk rejection of the current visa application.

With effect from 14th September, 2016 OSC charges INR 4720 (incl. of Taxes) must be paid by demand draft favoring OSC Global Processing Private Ltd, payable at New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai respectively. Du Digital Technologies private ltd Demand draft will not be valid from 14th September, 2016 at VFS Centres.

Tourist

Note: Indian Nationals can get Visa on Arrival (VOA) with the following terms and conditions:

• • The Applicants should have Passport valid for at least 6 months upon arrival in Malaysia.
  • Entering Malaysia from Singapore / Thailand/ Indonesia only.
  • Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA)/ Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA2)/ Bayan Lepas International Airport, Pulau Pinang/ Sultan Ismail, Senai Airport, Johor/ Kota Kinabalu International Airport, Sabah/ Kuching International Airport, Sarawak.
  • Entering via LAND: Tuas – Sultan Abu Bakar Complex (Second Link) only.
  • Carrying minimum of USD 1000 in cash.
  • Valid visa for Singapore/ Thailand/ Indonesia with valid return ticket.
  • Only 7 days period of stay.
  • On arrival visa fee is USD 100 (RM 330).
  • Issuing of on arrival visa solely depends on the discretion of the Immigration Officer at Immigration in Malaysia.

Malaysia Introduced E-Visa for Indian Nationals for Tourism purpose only effective 15th April, 2016. E-visa related information as follows:

• • • • Passport valid for at least 6 months upon arrival in Malaysia.
      • The processing time for e-visa is between 24 to 48 hrs.
      • Processing fee $ 25 (approximately INR 1660) + Visa fee INR 1000 + transaction fee of INR 50 online. The total estimated cost INR 2710. Payment via online only.
      • eVISA holder is entitled to stay at maximum of 30 days with purpose of tourism only.
      • Good for a single journey to Malaysia within 3 months from date hereof, provided that the passport remains valid.

Applicants may apply at the High Commission/ Consulate General with the following documents:

• • • • • • Visa Application Form filled completely with block capital letters and duly signed by the traveler. (Note) :- For applicant applying in Kolkata and New Delhi VFS (back to back Application Form is to be filled).
          • A passport (original and copy) valid for at least 6 months upon arrival in Malaysia. Please ensure 3 (three) complete blank pages in the passport for the purpose of visa stamping and approval.
          • Three recent passport-size photographs (35 mm width x 50 mm height) 60% of face appearance with white back ground pasted and not stapled on the application form.
          • A typed covering letter from the applicant stating the purpose of travel./ Invitation letter/ supporting document(s) (if any).
          • Confirmed returned air-ticket with flight details & ticket no. (Original and copy).
          • Applicants traveling for the 1st time or hold a fresh passport, need to submit photocopy of the last 3 month updated bank statement (Not applicable to applications submitted in Chennai and Hyderabad).
          • Airlines staff need to submit the confirm return air tickets, open tickets & buddy pass is not acceptable. (Not applicable to applications submitted in Chennai and Hyderabad).
          • Visa is valid from 90 days up to one year at the discretion of the Visa Officer. Single / Multiple entry visas can be issued.
          • Visa processing takes 4 to 5 working days.

Note: Kindly be advised as per the new rules of the Malaysian High Commission it is mandatory now to submit original Air ticket. If a dummy ticket is submitted along with the Visa Application and on checking if found dummy, than they can black list the applicant and may never be able to travel Malaysia in future. High Commission will be taking a strong action against any agent who will submit such application. In the last week they even have black listed few agents for submitting dummy air tickets. Family Visit

For a stay exceeding 30 days visa application is referred to Malaysia. This is also called Referral Visa. Application procedure and documents required are mentioned as under.

              • A passport valid for at least 9 months from the date of entry into Malaysia.
              • Two sets of visa forms photocopied back to back.
              • Photocopy of the first 3 pages of the passport.
              • Three recent passport-size photographs (35 mm width x 50 mm height) with white back ground pasted and not stapled on the application form.
              • A typed covering letter from the Applicant explaining the purpose of visit and a sponsorship letter from Malaysia.
              • High Commission retains the original documents which are forwarded to the Immigration Department at Kuala Lumpur for a fee of INR 210.
              • Approval is usually received in a month, directly by the High Commission.
              • Once this is confirmed upon enquiry, the Applicant must submit his/her passport, with confirmed return tickets, for stamping of the visa.
              • Visa processing takes 5 working days.
              • Visa is valid for 90 days and more, as per approval.

Family Visit

For a stay exceeding 30 days visa application is referred to Malaysia. This is also called Referral Visa. Application procedure and documents required are mentioned as under.

              • A passport valid for at least 9 months from the date of entry into Malaysia.
              • Two sets of visa forms photocopied back to back.
              • Photocopy of the first 3 pages of the passport.

              • A typed covering letter from the Applicant explaining the purpose of visit and a sponsorship letter from Malaysia.
              • High Commission retains the original documents which are forwarded to the Immigration Department at Kuala Lumpur for a fee of INR 210.
              • Approval is usually received in a month, directly by the High Commission.
              • Once this is confirmed upon enquiry, the Applicant must submit his/her passport, with confirmed return tickets, for stamping of the visa.
              • Visa processing takes 5 working days.
