  • A passport valid for at least 12 months after the date of departure from Namibia.
  • Two visa forms (photocopy allowed).
  • Two passport-size photographs.
  • Applicant needs confirmed return / onward air ticket.
  • Onward country visa.
  • Yellow fever certificate is required only if the journey to the Republic of Namibia entails passing through the yellow fever area of Africa and/or South and Central America by any other means that by a scheduled air service. (The validity of yellow fever certificates begins 10 days after the date of vaccination.)
  • A copy of the travel plan.
  • Confirmed Hotel Reservation.
  • Proof of funds.
  • Visa processing takes 5 to 7 working days.
  • Applicants are advised to submit their duly filled applications at least 15 days prior to their proposed date of departure.
  • Two sets of photocopies of all the documents are required.

  • Indian Seamen traveling on duty must hold a Letter of Guarantee from the Shipping Company with the Seamen Book and passport.
  • A fax message from the Shipping Company in Namibia must be sent to the Embassy. It should state the particulars of the Seamen and the date and port of joining the Ship.
  • Applicants are advised to submit duly filled applications at least 15 days prior to their proposed date of departure.

Work Permit

Work permit visa is not issued by the Embassy in Delhi. The Applicant needs to apply for a business visa and upon arrival in Namibia, an application for the work permit should be made by the Employer to the following Department:
